Mario and Teodora Kirilovi: the aim is to build EFA for the long term

Two weeks before the second edition of Elite Fighting Arena, Mario and Teodora Kirilovi were guests in the Sportal Fight Club studio. The couple are staging EFA 2 on 3 October at ASICS Arena in Sofia, with the aim of giving Bulgarian Muay Thai and kickboxing fighters the chance to test themselves against high-level foreign opponents. Their main message, also carried in Sportal.bg's headline, is that they want to develop EFA for the long term.

One of the highlights of the card is the return of Martin Koprivlenski. After his strong win at EFA 1 in March, he had been recovering from a hand injury picked up in training. Also on the card are the first gala's winner Dmitro Vlasuk and decorated kickboxers Diyan Dimitrov, Konstantin Stoikov and Simeon Nakovski, who will fight for the WKN world title against Italy's Angelo Fiamingo.

Under Muay Thai rules with MMA gloves, Tomas Danev will face Erdem Dincer, a champion of the famous Rajadamnern stadium with 56 wins in 66 professional fights. Danev is the Southern England professional Muay Thai champion, lives and trains in the UK and has 15 wins in the professional ring.
