A day before EFA 2, the Bulgarian fighters cleared the official scales without a single problem. Jungle.bg published the full weigh-in results from 2 October, on the eve of the gala at ASICS Arena.
Martin Koprivlenski, fighting at up to 83.9 kg for the first time, came in at 80.5 kg. His opponent, Morocco's Ilyas Chakir, weighed 80.6 kg. Despite the division's higher ceiling, the two had agreed on an 81 kg contract limit for their five-round EFA title fight.
The weigh-in for the WKN world title also went without surprises. Simeon Nakovski and Italy's Angelo Fiamingo were both on weight, with Fiamingo half a kilogram lighter than the fighter from Pleven.
The only fighter who failed to make the limit was Dutchman Mauri Smit. He weighed 66.2 kg, 1.2 kg over for his K-1 rules bout against Kaloyan Georgiev, who came in at 64.8 kg. The two sides nevertheless agreed that the fight would go ahead.
Among the other results: at up to 33 kg, Daria Kirilova weighed 32.5 kg and Stanimira Castillo 32.7 kg. Mitko Iliev came in at 83.4 kg against 82.9 kg for Samir Nezla, and in the 70.3 kg bout Dmitro Vlasuk weighed 70.1 kg while João Silva came in right on the limit.
Tickets for EFA 2 are on sale at kupibileti.bg, and NOVA SPORT will broadcast the gala live from 20:00. The media weigh-in and the face-offs were scheduled for later the same day, streamed live on EFA's social networks.
