Bulgarians against foreign fighters: close battles at EFA 2

Clashes between Bulgarian fighters and quality opponents from abroad were the main theme of Sportal.bg's recap of EFA 2 at ASICS Arena.

Topping the card was Martin Koprivlenski, whom the outlet calls a star of Bulgarian kickboxing. In his middleweight debut he faced Ilyas Chakir and, to the disappointment of Bulgarian fans, lost a split decision.

Diyan Dimitrov, Konstantin Stoikov, Kaloyan Georgiev and Simeon Nakovski also faced foreign opponents. Dimitrov won a unanimous decision over Anouar Chakir, Georgiev knocked out Mauri Smit in the first round, and Nakovski took the WKN world title after stopping Italy's Angelo Fiamingo by TKO in the third round. Stoikov lost a unanimous decision to Tymur Brykov.

In the other bouts, Daria Kirilova beat Stanimira Castillo by first-round KO, while Stanislav Kazantsev, Mitko Iliev and Dmitro Vlasuk won unanimous decisions over Alexander Ribnikov, Samir Nezla and João Silva respectively. Silviu Vitez beat Riccardo Cristiani by TKO in the second round, and Erdem Dincer knocked out Aleksandar Hristov in the first.

Sportal.bg also covered each of these bouts in a separate article.
