Diyan Dimitrov ahead of EFA 2: I am going for the knockout against Anouar Chakir

Diyan Dimitrov, known as the Diamond of Dobrich, is among the Bulgarians on the EFA 2 card on 3 October 2026 at ASICS Arena. The amateur world champion faces one of the toughest tests of his career: a bout against Anouar Chakir at 67 kg.

Speaking to Boec.bg, Dimitrov described his opponent as very strong and aggressive and predicted a good fight. The Bulgarian is clear about how he wants it to end, though: "I will fight for the knockout - I don't want to leave the decision to the judges."

The Diamond is entering the final days of his preparation determined to show his best in front of the Bulgarian crowd.
